The Nutraceuticals Workshop is a scientific gatherings of different research groups working in this field from different perspectives. The aim of this conference is to present the most recent results in relation to bioactive compounds and nutraceutics, as well as to bring together scientists working in this field. This will allow different points of view on the current concept of nutraceutics to be compared.
The workshop will also be open to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students and also to different professional sectors working with functional compounds and nutraceuticals, such as technical staff from nutraceutical and food companies, pharmacists and nutritionists.
It will be divided into different sessions in which experts in the field will present the latest advances in bioactive compounds, measures of their effectiveness and some of the most innovative mechanisms of action involved in their effects and the latest trends in their study. Finally, some of the issues related to the materialisation of these bioactive compounds in nutraceuticals will be reviewed, so that they can be marketed and thus reach consumers with the aim of improving their wellbeing and preventing the appearance of different pathologies.
For the first time, the III Conference on Nutraceuticals will also be broadcast live through the Youtube channel of the Rovira i Virgili University.
